History

The tennis courts were built on the East Park Farm development approximately 15 years ago.  The courts are now owned by Charvil Parish Council.

In July 2012 the Charvil Community Tennis Club was officially formed by local residents with support from Wokingham Borough Council.

In September 2013 the club moved on to new courts which were designed to build upon the 2012 Olympic legacy. As part of the "Inspired Facilities".

During the year 2014 we increased our membership (both at junior and adult level)

We held our first 12 week block-booking for junior coaching session and had 36 children/teenagers booked to attend the sessions. Charvil Piggott Primary school opened their new facility next to the tennis courts.

2016 Charvil Community Tennis Club Summer Camps are for the first time open for registration.

Why a Local Club?

The tennis courts are for the residents of Charvil and neighbouring areas. Take advantage of the courts on your doorstep.

In addition to this you will be joining a local Club in the vibrant community of Charvil where you can meet up and play tennis, socialize and get your families involved in this active and exciting sport.

Looking Forward

As the club grows and membership increases we are looking to offer a full range of coaching sessions for juniors and adults, regular cardio tennis and club nights.  We will be looking to build the club timetable and programme around member requirements.
